Berlim – antes e depois do tal do Cristo

Hello.

From today, you will see here, with my eyes, connected with those of History, since when there was this Berlin that, long before the pretended jump to the capital of Greater Germany, moreover, completely destroyed than in many other times, in these two and so many millennia, for then, we shall see this city that was born Slavic, turned Sorbian, Roman, Austrian, and, finally Germanic-German-Deutch.

A partir de hoje, verás aqui, com meus olhos, ligados nos da História, desde quando existe esta tal de Berlim que, muito antes de pretenso salto para a capital da Grande Germânia, aliás, soterrada que nem em muitas outras vezes, nestes dois e tanto milênios, pois então, veremos-leremos-teremos-seremos esta cidade que nasceu eslava, virou sorábia, romana, austríaca e, finalmente, germânica-alemã-deutch.

The idea of this series, which will be part of the ebook “With my eyes you will see Berlin”, is to point out two apparently opposing links that trace the destiny of this imperious capital: on the one hand, the primitive Celtic curse of the Berlin Schulusstrich – Final Point, and , on the other side, the “Berlin Stundnull – Year Zero” to which she is always bound to recommence, over the centuries of victories and defeats, both of them overlords.

A idéia desta série, que será parte do ebook “Com meus olhos verás Berlim”, é apontar dois laços aparentemente opostos que traçam o destino desta capital imperiosa: de um lado a maldição quiçá céltica primitiva do “Berlin Schulusstrich – Ponto Final”, e, do outro oposto, a “Berlin Stundnull – Ano Zero” a que ela é fadada sempre a recomeçar, ao longo dos séculos de vitórias e derrotas, ambas acachapantes.

So, let’s follow together the next chapters of this Great Berlin that once was small, in another huge, and, more than once, reduced to wreckage then heaped together in what can be called today false hills swinging upon of the marshy land cut by rivers, lakes and canals, to the delight of the 60,000 inhabitants in the sixth century, or over 3 million, in this twenty-first century. Let’s move on?

Então, sigamos juntos os próximos capítulos desta Grande Berlim que um dia já foi pequena, noutro enorme, e, mais de uma vez, reduzida a destroços em seguida amontoados no que se pode chamar hoje de falsas colinas balançando em cima do terreno pantanoso cortado por rios, lagos e canais, para deleite dos 60 mil habitantes, no século VI, ou acima dos 3 milhões, neste século XXI.
